Through participation in these initiatives, we are promoting efforts toward the realization of a sustainable society in collaboration with our stakeholders.
In April 2025, we joined Textile Exchange, a global non-profit organization that drives beneficial impacts on climate change across the fashion, textile, and apparel industry.
Textile Exchange has established eight certification standards for areas including recycling, organic materials, and animal welfare and guides a growing community of brands, manufacturers, and famers towards more purposeful production from the very start of the supply chain. The organization's goal is to help the industry to achieve a 45% reduction in the emissions that come from producing fibers and raw materials by 2030, while keeping its focus holistic and interconnected, and seeking to improve the state of our freshwater, soil health and biodiversity.
In March 2023, we joined the Japan Sustainable Fashion Alliance, a general incorporated association established to promote the transition toward a more sustainable fashion industry.
The Japan Sustainable Fashion Alliance aims to collaboratively address common challenges in the fashion and textile sectors and strives to achieve “Zero Fashion Loss” and carbon neutrality by 2050 through appropriate production, responsible consumption, and circular use of fashion products.
